Weekr is built so your data stays yours. No accounts. No tracking inside the app. No servers we operate that store your tasks.
Last updated 20 June 2026.
What the app stores
Tasks, habits, scheduled times, focus sessions, themes, and other preferences you create inside Weekr are saved on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the same data is synced to your private iCloud database under your Apple ID so it can appear on your other devices. Nobody but you (and Apple, as your iCloud provider) can read it.
What the app does not do
No third-party analytics, attribution, or advertising SDKs. No advertising identifiers. No tracking pixels. No usage metrics sent to us. Crash and performance reports are collected by Apple and shared with us in anonymised, aggregated form through App Store Connect — and only if you opt in to sharing analytics with developers in your device settings. They never include the contents of your tasks.
Calendar access
If you grant calendar access, events are read directly from your device's EventKit framework so Weekr can show them alongside your tasks. Events are not transmitted off your device and are never sent to us.
iCloud sync
Sync is provided by Apple's CloudKit using your private iCloud database. Your tasks travel between your own devices through Apple's infrastructure. We have no access to that database, no keys for it, and no way to read its contents.
Purchases
Weekr's subscription is processed by Apple through your Apple Account — we never receive or store your payment-card details. Apple shares anonymised, aggregated sales and subscription reports with us through App Store Connect (for example, how many subscriptions are active); these do not identify you. See the Terms for how the plans work.
Children
Weekr is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.
This website
We use Google Analytics to understand basic usage of this website — pages visited, country, device class. If you submit your email through the beta-signup or contact form, we store that email and your message in order to (a) reply to you, (b) send product communication about Weekr, and (c) issue Apple TestFlight invitations when the beta opens. You can ask us to delete your email at any time via the contact form.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications. Send us a message via the contact form and we'll action it within a reasonable time.
